Born in Moscow, Russia, Pivovarova began modeling after a friend introduced her to modeling agency IMG. Her first show was Prada, & soon she went on to do the Fall 2005 campaign for the brand.
Pivovarova has been compared to Australian supermodel Gemma Ward. She is close friends with fellow models Vlada Roslyakova & Snejana Onopka. Pivovarova has modeled for such brands such as Chanel, Valentino, Prada, Louis Vuitton & Gucci.
Along with modeling, Pivovarova has an interest in art. In an interview, she stated that "I love to draw! I want to be an artist."
More recently, Pivovarova has become the face of Prada for the fourth season in a row. She appeared in the Fall 2005, Spring 2006, Fall 2006 & the Spring 2007 campaign.

Lily Donaldson is de dochter van fotograaf Matthew Donaldson. Hij en haar moeder Tiffany zijn intussen gescheiden. In 2003 werd ze ontdekt door iemand van het Britse modellenbureau Select Model Management terwijl ze in Londen aan het winkelen was.
Donaldson werd een van de bekendste Britse modellen en werkte voor beroemde modehuizen waaronder Burberry, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana en Jil Sander. In 2005 werd ze genomineerd als model van het jaar bij de British Fashion Awards. Die titel ging uiteindelijk naar Karen Elson.
Donaldson is bevriend met collega's Freja Beha, Gemma Ward en Irina Lazareanu.
Gemma ward is HET topmodel (en binnenkort actrice in de nieuwe film ''The Strangers) van het moment, de nieuwe Kate Moss! Ze is op 3 november 1987 geboren en al op vroege leeftijd op een bijzondere manier ontdekt. Haar carrière is zeer snel van de grond gekomen en ze is geliefd bij fotografen, fashiondesigners en vooral haar fans!!! Een compliment van een fotograaf over Gemma: Ze heeft een look die uit een andere dimensie lijkt te komen.
